Kurumba

Kurumba people live in extensive territory in the north of Burkina Faso. Their number about 780 000 and their largest town are Titao, Djibo and Arabinda.

Their artistic reputation rests on their antelope headdresses which are worn during funeral ceremonies and are believed to represent the soul of the deceased.
